Forever Free

Hello all!

Thanks for checking in and following our great summer adventure!  We have been very busy the last few months making arrangements to take this trip and now it is almost here.  We are excited, nervous, happy, tense - every emotion and feeling all at once!   If nothing else it will certainly be something we will always remember.  We are still trying to decide exactly where we will be going…the general idea is to head west for the month of June, swing around to Indiana around the 4th of July then back down the east coast to Florida by July 20th.  Other than that it is up to God to direct us, but I think that will be the fun part of it…just following the path that opens before us. 

Dirk and I went today to pick up our RV, better known as Harvi.  There were a few repairs that needed to be made before this big trip AND she (I decided the RV was a girl - just a feeling I had!) had an appointment to get some tattoos.  Nothing fancy or cutting edge - really pretty conservative and reserved as you will see.  We thought putting some info about the book on some vinyl adhesives would be a great way to give exposure to the book.  And here she is….Harvi with her tats!

B-E-A-Utiful isn’t she???  I wish I was smart enough to figure out why these pictures will not import in a bigger size.  Sorry they are so small - I will have to get some training how to make them the right size for future updates.

Memorial day weekend we took our maiden voyage in Harvi to make sure we knew how to turn everything on, off and dump all the lovely stuff we accumulate in all the holding tanks into the right places.  Happy to say, we figured it all out!  We are hoping we do not have any experiences with the dumping like they had in the move RV - that would not be fun :0).  Here are some photos from that trip.
